We enjoy hosting larger group retreats where people can experience true worship, inspired teaching, and personal prayer as together we all grow closer in coming to know the very heart of God. We plan to hold 3-4 such events throughout 2010 and hope you can join us.
Peter Lord, author, speaker and pastor – “Soul Care and Hearing God’s Voice”
Friday October 1, 2010 and Saturday October 2, 2010
Cloud Walk is very pleased to have Peter Lord come to Milton, GA and lead us in the Group Retreat “Soul Care and Hearing from God” which will focus on deepening our relationship with God by learning to hear his voice more clearly. Peter’s reknown teaching comes from a deep well of walking with God for decades, a love for the Word of God and a love for conveying God’s heart for his people.
Peter M. Lord is one of today’s preeminent pastor-teachers and is a widely read writer of books on the Christian life. Peter has pastored and ministered to tens of thousands of people through his teaching and books and has challenged people to growth and maturity in their Christian faith. Peter’s call and gift is teaching on the Christian’s inner life. He was pastor of the Park Avenue Baptist Church in Titusville, FL for 30 years.
His first book, The 2959 Plan, dealing with the believer’s person prayer life, sold over 500,000 copies and has been translated into four languages. His most recent books include: Soul Care, Hearing from God, which teaches how to hear and recognize God’s voice, Turkey’s and Eagles and Our Father Speaks Through Hebrews.
In his book Hearing God, Peter writes….
“What we have seen and heard,” the apostle John says in his first letter, “we proclaim to you also, that you also may have fellowship with us; and indeed our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son Jesus Christ”. I John 1:3. I took John seriously. I believed he meant to those words for all of us. I have had fellowship with the Father and his Son Jesus Christ. And, to paraphrase, these things I now write to you to let you know that I John 1:3 can be experienced in reality by anyone that is a child of God.
Peter was born and raised in Kingston Jamaica, British West Indies and attend college and seminary in the US. Peter is a graduate of the New Orleans Seminary. He and his wife Johnnie have 5 children and 9 grandchildren.

May 14-15, 2010 – Brock Bingaman, “Mentoring as a Lifestyle”
We had a great time having Brock, his wife Amanda and his good friend Joe, join us in Milton for a focused time discussing relationships and mentoring. We learned about how to hear God as well as really listen to and engage the people God puts in our lives to invest in. We’ve posted information about the Brock Bingaman event on our site as well as pictures from the event.
February 26-27, 2010 – Jack Taylor, “The Kingdom of God”
On February 26th and 27th, 2010 we were honored to have Jack Taylor join the Cloud Walk community for a series of talks on The Kingdom of God. We’ll make his sessions available on this website very soon. Jack’s talk informed, inspired and enlightened us about the rule of God in the Universe. Thanks to all the volunteers and friends who worked hard and contributed financially to make the weekend a great success. (see pics).
