The Beginning of the End
Cloudwalk began in 2002. At the time, by the world’s standards, Cloudwalk’s founder was a successful 43 year old corporate climber. He had been chasing the American dream for over 20 years, but as the years stretched on, he found his life less and less fulfilling. In the most literal sense, he had been selling his soul to gain the world (Matthew 16:26). His marriage was in trouble because of neglect and self-focus. His two young children longed for more time with their dad. This man lived in perpetual fear.
Fear of discovery. Fear of being found unworthy of the love of others... especially God. Fear of not measuring up in a culture that only celebrates the best and the brightest. He had reached the end of a life of hiding from God and living for himself. This man was exhausted, empty and searching for more... wondering, is this all there is?

Nowhere to Hide
In January of 2002, God showed up in the life of this "dead man walking". He had been avoiding God for nearly 26 years when a respected friend invited him to attend a four-day silent retreat. He accepted his friend's invitation. Imagine doing just about anything to avoid God and suddenly being placed in His living presence with no interruptions, no excuses and nowhere to hide for 68 hours.
The result was a holy encounter with the undeniable force of God’s love. A man who wasn't able to cry at his own mother’s funeral, cried for hours upon hours as unrelenting waves of God’s love poured over him – washing away his self-doubt, feelings of unworthiness and giving him the courage to be seen by this loving Parent.
A New Direction
When the silent retreat ended, this brand new person was overwhelmed with knowing for the first time in his life he was loved by the Creator of everything. After his encounter with God, he would never be the same. His response was to dedicate the rest of his life to helping others discover the profound and powerful love of God.
The Cloudwalk community now lives for this... to help people fall in love with God.
Cloudwalk continues on through the grace and goodness of God and the sacrificial partnership of many who give and serve. We would love you to join us on the ancient journey that invites you to fall in love...with God.
The Deeper Journey
There comes a time in our lives when we may begin asking, is this all there is to a sacred journey... learning about God and doing for God? This has served us well, but now our heart’s desire is to come to really know who God is. A longing of the heart and soul begins to emerge and we desire to experience the same intimacy and union that Jesus experienced with His Abba Father. We are here to walk with you.

We Believe
We believe in God, eternal, almighty, Creator of heaven and earth. We believe in Jesus Christ, the Redeemer of all, the Only Begotten One, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, lived and loved among us, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried and on the third day rose from the dead. Jesus, our Savior, ascended into heaven, sits at the right hand of the loving God, and will come again to judge the living and the dead. We believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting. Amen.

God's love

Seek God first
As we seek and move closer, God reveals more of Love’s nature to us, more of Love’s will for our lives, and more of Love’s ministry through us. <br>Proverbs 3:5-6
The Journey
The Ancient Path experienced and documented by many who have traveled before us invites us to seek, to begin and to trust in the journey that will lead us to what we are looking for. <br>Jeremiah 6:16
